Shipping Policy

1. Shipping Coverage & Delivery Time

  • Shipping available to: Continental U.S. and Puerto Rico.

  • All orders are shipped via UPS Ground or USPS, depending on destination and carrier availability.

  • Estimated Delivery Times:

    • Continental U.S. & Puerto Rico: 2–5 business days (UPS Ground)

    • Standard Economy shipping (e.g. USPS Mail Innovations): 7–10 business days, incluyendo P.O. boxes, APO/FPO, etc.

2. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed and shipped on the next business day (Monday–Friday). No shipping on weekends or holidays.

  • Delivery estimates are based on business days and may vary due to weather or other delays beyond our control.

3. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping to any continental area and Puerto Rico is subject to a standard rate calculated during the checkout process.

  • Free shipping may be offered on orders over a certain amount (if you opt in to this policy).

  • Address changes are not possible once the order has been shipped.

4. Risk of Loss

  • Ownership and risk of loss pass to the customer upon delivery to the carrier. Makita follows this same practice.

  • Customers must file claims directly with the carrier for damaged or lost items.

5. International Orders

  • We do not ship internationally outside of the US and Puerto Rico at this time.

  • For orders outside of these areas, the customer is responsible for customs taxes and fees, and we are not responsible for returns or unaccepted packages.

6. Backorders / Pre-orders

  • When a product is out of stock or on pre-order, the order will be held until all items are available to ship together.

  • Payment is made at the time of purchase.

7. Changes or Cancellations

  • Once the order is shipped, no changes can be made to the address or content.

  • We reserve the right to cancel orders if products are unavailable or in the event of suspicious activity.

8. Returns & Damage Claims

For damaged or defective products:

  • Send us images of the damage along with your order number.

  • We will provide you with a prepaid shipping label to return the product.

  • For personalized or custom-made items: we do not accept returns, except for manufacturing defects.

9. Large or Restricted Items

  • If the package exceeds the limits for standard ground shipping (for example, heavy tools or lithium batteries), special transportation may be required. In this case, the customer will be responsible for additional costs.
